Additional sound attenuation can be fitted easily for very sensitive areas like hospitals or hotels Cooling tower components and materials: CasingThe casing, which can be supplied with or without a water-collecting basin is made of fibreglass reinforced polyester with stainless steel screw fittings. The standard colour is blue. Other colours are also available on request. Centrifugal fan Quiet and high efficiency forward curved radial fans are used. A protective grid is fitted. Drift eliminator Profiled plastic sections prevent water droplets being carried along by the air-stream. Water distribution system The water distribution pipes are fitted with self-cleaning plastic cone spray nozzles. Fill material The fill material is made of corrosion proof, heat resistant plastic (PVC). Strainer basket The strainer basket in stainless steel is mounted in the lower tray upstream of the outlet and prevents foreign objects from entering the water circuit. Float valve The float valve controls the supply of make -up water.
